yokai rescue
(school)

The project

"Yokai Rescue" is a video game mixing Rogue Like and Platformer. You play as Seiki, a fox Yokai who has to climb a futuristic tower with his grappling hook in a world where robots dominate and use the energy of the Yokai to power themselves.

The game's gameplay is dynamic, with lots of fighting and rapid progression between levels. Everything is done with the grappling hook in the player's possession, which allows him to fight and climb

"Yokai Rescue", formerly known as "Yokai No Shoten", began as a school project, originally created as an exercise. Over time, it was reworked by the original team, with additional support from other students, to improve every aspect of the game: gameplay, art, narrative, and content. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the entire team, "Yokai Rescue" is now available for free on Steam, featuring seven chapters and a fully developed story.
